Having fun machining some 3/4″ thick natural nylon today on the router. Nylon is an incredibly strong material with high compressive strength, stiffness, and great abrasion resistance. Fillers such as glass and a variety of lubricants can be added to the material to enhance strength and aid in friction reduction.
